Sandra Bullock is welcoming a new addition to her family.
The Oscar-winning actress, 51, appears on the cover of People Wednesday with her newly-adopted daughter, Laila. She reveals to the magazine that Laila, who is three-and-a-half, is from Louisiana and had been in foster care prior to her adoption.
“When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here," Bullock told People. “I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time."
In 2010 Bullock adopted her first child, Louis, who is now 5.
Bullock says she hopes her story can shine a light on the many children who are currently in foster care in the USA.
